πŸ“š A Note from the Snook ISD Library

Hello Bluejay Family,

This was my second year hosting the Snook ISD Book Fair, and it reminded me how much our community shows up for our kids.

Planning starts at least two months before the first book cart rolls in. By the time we’ve unpacked roughly three dozen boxes and welcomed families through the doors, staff across the district have helped make it happen. I may have been the host, but it took a team. #OneTeamOnePurpose

Open House night is my favorite. The library fills up with students, families, and teachers browsing for their next read (and maybe a pointer or a fuzzy notebook, if you know, you know). My favorite part is seeing kids walk out with books they picked themselves and can’t wait to read.

Finally, thank you to every parent, student, and community member who showed up or supported the book fair in some way. Whether you donated a single penny or a large amount, your contribution gave back to Snook ISD in a huge way - thanks to your generosity and our Share the Fair contributions, every student who wanted a book this year was able to take one home. Thank you for making that possible.

πŸ’™ Where the Book Fair proceeds go

Book Fair proceeds go right back to our students. They help support field trips, student incentives, items kids can buy with Bluejay Bucks at the Bluejay Store, and the little extras that make a school day special, like popsicles or cookies for a surprise celebration.

Thank you Bluejay Family- for shopping, giving, and helping us make the Book Fair happen each year!
