The counselors have teamed up and each six weeks there will be a Counselor Connection newsletter that will be made available around the time report cards come out. This six weeks the theme is mindfulness. Mindfulness is a grounding practice to help us be fully aware of the present. Practicing mindfulness helps slow racing minds and develop self-awareness in order to regulate emotions. Look for more information and some helpful tips in the Counselor Connection newsletter that is attached. Be sure to also check Snook social media pages and the counselor websites each week for the newsletter as well as resources that follow the theme of the previous newsletter.
